Masks
Although masks are not required, they are optional. However, if you are feeling sick, please respect stylist and other guests and wear a mask & wash your hands upon arrival.
Refunds
All services are non-refundable , a corrective service can be scheduled free of charge.
The salon must be contacted within 48 hours to express your dissatisfaction. The corrective service must be assessed with the stylist and cannot be due to you changing your mind after the initial service was performed.
After the stylist assessment, a corrective service will be scheduled as soon as possible.
✨Please keep in mind, using box color or going from Darker to Lighter tones may result in more than one service to achieve your desired result.
Right to Refuse Service
GlamdbyMel reserves the right to refuse service to anyone demonstrating inappropriate behavior and/or disrespect towards the stylist or other clientss.
GlamdbyMel reserves the right to refuse service if the stylist or clients feel unsafe, uncomfortable, or witness discrimination or abuse towards anyone in the salon.
GlamdbyMel reserves the right to refuse service if the style, color services or any chemical services are a compromise to the health of the hair.
24 Hour Cancellation Policy
We understand that unforeseen circumstances happen and you may need to cancel or change an appointment with your stylist.
In order to respect the time of both our clients and stylist we simply ask that you notify the salon of a cancellation or reschedule no less than 24 hours prior to the appointment.
Appointments that are cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the start of your service, will result in 100% of the cost of services you being charged to you. The fee will be charged to the credit card we have on file to secure your appointment.
No Show
In order to respect the time of the stylist, if you do not show for an appointment, you will be charged 100% of the amount due for the services scheduled.

Please be advised if you do not show for a corrective service and choose to reschedule your appointment, the service will NOT be free of charge and you will be subject to 100% of the service fee.
If you are a new client and do not show for your appointment , you will be charged 100% of your scheduled services and a 50% deposit will be required at the time any future services are scheduled.
NO EXCEPTIONS.
Guests
GlamdbyMel loves all the people , however, NO extra guests are permitted during your service.

Late
Please be courteous to your Stylist and other guests. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment we may have to reschedule your appointment & assess a fee for the cost of services that you were scheduled for.
Children
GlamdbyMel does Not perform services on children under the age of 13.
All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian during the appointment. A consent form must be signed prior to services being performed.
No exceptions.
DETANGLE
It is encouraged to come to your appointment brushed out, detangled and manageable especially if you are coming out of braids, softlocs , weaves or any protective style.
In any event your hair is beyond matted , EXTREMELY tangled when coming to ANY Service booked , there would be an $50 initial detangling fee & there is no guarantee that we can accomplish all of your services that day from push back time & an inconvenience to the next guest coming on time for their appointment .
NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!!
Methods of payment
GlamdbyMel Studio accepts Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express and Cash.
Online Scheduling
GLAMDBYMEL does not take appointment requests on social media (Instagram, Facebook,etc.) All appointments must be scheduled via the booking link on this website or you can provide your name, email, address and phone number on the contact form.

Your request will be scheduled based on stylist availability. Your request IS NOT APPROVED until you receive confirmation from GlamdbyMel Studio. A credit card is required to make a reservation and it will be kept on file for future reservations and any fees that may be incurred.
Head Lice
It is against Studio Policy to perform services on clients with head lice. If a client has been diagnosed with head lice while receiving a service in the salon we would not be able to complete the service the same day.
Hair loss & Major Hair concerns
Here at GlamdbyMel studio, No stylist cannot diagnose nor treat any scalp concerns beyond our control by state law.
However , it is best to book an appointment with a professional dermatologist to detect the issue and treat. Stylist is more than welcome to help with any styling to keep you looking your best.
Any prescribed Shampoos/ Conditioners & oils upon doctors request when getting serviced is highly suggested to help keep you healthy and rectify the issue.
Most importantly , Any Allergies MUST be discussed during consultations to prevent any issues.

When getting a Glamd experience whether it be Beautiful highlights , Balayage or just a simple as a blowout or coil set . It is encouraged to be ✨GLAMD ✨ up and photo ready for social media promoting purposes only .
If you are uncomfortable in front of cameras, No sweat!
Selfies are also encouraged from a fresh service from the salon.
